Hey, I’m Wayne.
I’m a Senior Technical Account Manager at Nerdio, with over 20 years across IT, infrastructure and cloud. For the past several years my focus has been firmly on modern cloud workspaces — Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, Intune and the wider EUC and Desktop-as-a-Service space.
I work with enterprise customers every day, helping them design, secure and operate environments that are not just technically sound but operationally sustainable and cost-effective.

What drives me
I’m motivated by solving real problems — not theoretical ones. Much of my work sits at the intersection of architecture, security, operations and user experience.
- Driving better outcomes through standardisation, automation and good operational habits
- Turning complex cloud platforms into something practical and understandable
- Helping organisations avoid common EUC and DaaS pitfalls
Sharing what I learn
I write regularly about the platforms I work with — practical insights, patterns and lessons from real production environments. Not marketing material, not vendor hype.

Recognition
All-Around CS Legend Award
I was honored to receive the Customer Success award for “All-Around CS Legend” at Nerdio’s company meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona — recognition for the work I do helping enterprise customers get real, lasting value from their cloud workspace platforms.
Why I started
I started this blog to share what I see in the field.
Some posts are technical, some strategic, others reflective — but all are grounded in hands-on experience. My goal is simple: to help architects, engineers and decision-makers run cloud workspaces better.
If you’re responsible for AVD, Windows 365, Intune or modern EUC platforms — and you care about doing things properly — this blog is for you.
